The main objectives of this assignment/project are to heighten your awareness of some of the laws in Singapore and appreciate the involvement of law in everyday life.

The true success of this project goes beyond the grade you will get at the end of the semester. It is in whether you have acquired the ability and interest to read beyond assessment needs and read instead to gain knowledge. It is in whether you can identify the legal principles in the newspapers and other materials; and can elaborate on their relationship to the relevant area of law.
