Assume you are a port planner of a Port Authority who is currently investigating any upcoming port development roadmap. Write a report consisting of the followings:

Choose any one of the below terminal operations and conduct a feasibility study to investigate its port planning, design, and development roadmap.

1. Container terminal
2. Iron ore/ coal terminal
3. Crude oil refinery terminal
4. LNG terminal
5. Others??

Part A

should include a brief summary of the latest seaborne trade market related to the terminal operations that you have already chosen above. You may make reference to Review of Maritime Transport 2021” by UNCTAD or any other relevant sources.

Part B

• The roadmap should consider only the planning, design, and development phase but not as far as the operational.
• Make certain scenarios, assumptions, or considerations which deem suitable for the roadmap
• Layout all relevant planning, design, and development strategies linking to the
  abovementioned scenarios, assumptions or considerations, etc.
