Assignment requirement

Students are required to choose ONE of the following nursing procedures to write on an adult patient based on the scenario provided. You are NOT allowed to choose the nursing procedure that you have presented in the ICA presentation in week 4.
Topic 1: Hemodynamic monitoring (IA)
Topic 2: Hemodynamic monitoring (CVP)
Topic 3: Electrical Therapy (Cardioversion)
Topic 4: ECG monitoring (12-lead right-sided / posterior ECG)

Contents of written assignment:

i. Discuss the indications, contraindications, possible complications, outcomes, and nursing management of the patient undergoing your selected procedure applied to the scenario.

ii. Critique your selected procedure compared to other procedures from your research with similar indications and discuss with rationales if your selected procedure is the best for the patient in the scenario.

iii. Search and present your analysis of current and credible information from relevant sources such as evidence-based research articles (RCTs, meta-analyses, and systematic reviews), clinical practice guidelines (CPGs), online databases, journal articles, and textbooks to support your arguments.
