Company ABC is converting an existing 6m high building (2 stories) into a high-value asset depository center. 2 story buildings are located on the left and right sides of the facility.
The appointed Architect has re-designed the building layout & landscape based on the Client’s input.
The facility is provided with a 2.4m welded mesh fence, 1 double vehicular gate (chain link fence fabric), and 1 single rigid steel bar pedestrian gate.
1. Briefly describe the total security design (4 elements) approach taken for the above facility (refer to Figure 1). The approach should be based on the Protection in Depth approach. Only Adjacent & Perimeter Protection be considered.
