(i) Continuous Assessment Two

Your task is to write one essay addressing one of the questions listed below. In your essay, you need to present an argument using the subject literature and show how this argument can apply to the organisation you work in (or worked in). In your answer, use academic sources (books and peer- reviewed journals), professional sources (reports, statistics, case studies) and data from the actual organisation (observation, interviews, documents).

Choose one question (one essay, 1000 words)

Q1. Choose one of the following trends: development of technology, labour market diversity or changing forms of work and employment and discuss how they influence human resource management. Use the organization you work in (or worked in) as an example.

Guidelines:

• The assignment should be done individually.
• The maximum word count for the whole assignment is 1,000 words (you should aim to finish +/- 10% of this word count). Word count should be included in the essay. The bibliography is not included in the word coun
• Submit a soft copy via Brightspace. It is the student’s responsibility to retain a copy of any submitted assessment/project work. Please read the Grade Descriptors in the Grade Descriptor table. All submitted assignments will be automatically processed through ‘Urkund’ (the plagiarism detection software used throughout the university).
• The written assignment must be typed, well presented, and in written an academic style with appropriate headings (introduction, main body, conclusion, bibliography, plagiarism certificate). Please ensure you pay sufficient attention to the introduction and conclusion (each should be approximately 10% of the word count for the assignment).
• All sources must be referenced and included in the bibliography.
• 12 Font Size, Times New Roman or Arial, 1.5 line spacing.
• Pages must be numbered.
