You are a graduate junior structural engineer working in “STRUCAD Consultants” which is a consultation company operating within Sri Lanka specializing on structural engineering. You are responsible to assist the
senior structural engineers to develop the conceptual and detailed structural design of proposed infrastructure development project in Galle. This infrastructure development project consists of several multi storey apartment complexes, Outdoor parks, swimming pools and pedestrian bridges.
The senior structural engineer assigned you to assist the engineering team in following design parts

1. Evaluate the wind loads acting on a 7-storied office complex building as an input for the finite element model to analyze the 7 storied building.
2. Analysis and design of rooftop steel canopy roof.
3. Structural design of RCC columns and preliminary pile design of the office complex building.
4. Study the advantages and disadvantages of implementing BIM in this Infrastructure development project.
5. Feasibility study of the types of pedestrian bridges to be proposed.
