Adapt an existing class lesson and modify it to cater to the needs of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You will need to provide relevant professional literature as appropriate and

a) briefly describe the characteristics of ASD.

b) You will also need to include the class level, lesson objectives as well as to show the key differences between the original class lesson and the adapted class lesson by including the relevant strategies to support this child to better participate in the class lesson.

You are developing a resource book on the principles of family-centred practice for families to better support children with learning differences and/or developmental needs. Apply THREE (3) relevant principles of family-centred practice introduced in the course seminar to discuss how these principles can be used to better understand how to respectfully support the family in the care of the child. For each principle, include an example that should be relevant to the local home and/or preschool context. Provide relevant professional literature as appropriate.
