Project Team XYZ has been tasked to develop an online EV charging lots booking system pilot for Singapore. As part of this pilot, XYZ will need to provide the booking system for all the different EV charging retails.
The booking system will allow booking of EV charging lots for private car park lots as well as dedicated EV charging lots for 88 petrol kiosks. The system will need to be available via a website, as well as on both the Android and iOS app stores for app downloads. XYZ is given 36 weeks to complete the project.
At the present moment, it is the 18th week, and XYZ is running into a major resource constraint issue. In order to complete the project on time, XYZ will need eight full-time software engineers with specific expertise with the booking algorithm. However, two engineers have just tendered their resignation, thereby causing a big issue for the company.
