PRESENTATION OF REPORT
When preparing your assignment, you should take care in the construction, layout, and clarity of your answers. In this TMA, you are asked to prepare a project proposal which involves a research study of Development of a Robotic Device for Assisted Hand Rehabilitation. Question 3
Description of the invention
Design an appropriate assistive technology (AT) device. Illustrate the invention by answering the following questions. Keep the write-up to not more than 1,500 words.
(a) Evaluate the need and rationale of developing the proposed solution.
(b) Formulate the methods/approach and components of the solution and discuss how it works.
(c) Indicate direct competitors. How is the proposed solution better than existing technologies/product/service? (40 marks)
Question 4
Intellectual property management
Develop a clear intellectual property (IP) plan going forward with the ultimate objective of generating and enhancing the IP. Keep the write-up no more 500 words.
(a) Provide the relevant background IP for the proposed solution.
(b) Briefly describe any possibility of IP generated from the solution.
(c) Examine how the IP is filed.
